Seven Directions Institute of Art and Science

2026 Summer Camp Registration is OPEN at Seven Directions! We have 10 weeklong sessions with over 20 camps this year, there’s something for everyone ages 5-17!

We have indoor camps at our bright and lively studio full of art and exotic animals, as well as outdoor camps at some of Santa Cruz’s most beautiful staye parks. We have art camps in a variety of styles, science camps, table top gaming camps, theater camps and so much more! What all our camps have in common is they combine creativity and learning through fun and playful hands on activities. Make friends, prevent summer learning loss, and express creatively under the guidance of our experienced teachers and become part of the Seven Directions family!

We’re offering all regular fan favorite camps like Pokemon Art, Animal Art, Science Explorers and Dungeons & Dragons Camps, plus a variety of exciting new options like Prehistoric Animal Art, Journaling Through Collage, Digital Character Creation and Stage Makeup for Theater Kids! Plus many more exciting camps designed to foster a strong sense of self, and celebrate each kid & teen’s uniqueness.

Join us this Saturday for our End of Semester Art Show! A Seven Directions tradition, we end each semester by celebrating our students and the work they have created by opening our studio to visitors to share student art.

Come see what we’ve been making, meet some animals and celebrate our talented community! It’s also a great opportunity to visit our studio if you are interested in seeing what we’re all about.

We hope to see you there this Saturday between 5:30-7:00!

There’s still a few more spots open in our Thanksgiving Break Camp next week! Join us for free-form days at Seven Directions of art, crafts, science, games and lots on hands on time with our resident exotic animals.

A great option for working parents with kids out of school, homeschoolers looking for some fun social time, parents who need some holiday prep time without kids underfoot, or just any kid who has ever wanted more time to hang out in our awesome studio with some of our favorite teachers.

Registration is open for our annual Thanksgiving Break Camp! Kids love this camp because it’s free-form creativity and fun, with a mix of art, crafts, science, games and more. Plus every day we have at least 2 animal meet and greets with our resident exotic animals!

A great option for parents who need to work while kids are out of school, parents who need some extra time to prep fof the holiday without having kids underfoot, or just for any kids who love spending time at Seven Directions.

Choose one or two days for $65 each, or sign up for all 3 days for a discounted rate! This camp is recommended for kids ages 5-10, but we do have some flexibility so message us with questions. These camps fill up fast, so grab your spot now!

Happy October! We love spooky season here at Seven Directions and there’s always plenty of Halloween themed projects at art going on around here this time of year!

We’re back and Fall Semester is in full swing at Seven Directions! We have new animals, new classes and plenty of classes that still have open spots. Enrollment is ongoing for all our classes including homeschool programs, after school classes, Dungeons & Dragons and more, so come join us!
