We took our annual walking field trip down 7th Avenue to visit our neighbors and to deliver holiday gifts for the animals there! 🐱 🐶 🐰
Such a fun tradition and special experience for the children to learn that giving can happen in lots of different ways during this season. ❤️

We host open houses throughout the year so our children can share what they’ve been learning with their family and friends. They love explaining how to do each Montessori work. What’s more fun than kids teaching grown ups something new? 💫

‘We often forget that the imagination is a force for the discovery of truth’. Maria Montessori

And what better way for children to discover their truth than in a dress up corner?!

Maria Montessori’s words have been interpreted many ways over the years and the above is just one example.

At Midtown we aren’t dogmatic. We observe what brings our children joy and facilitate an environment that helps them explore who they, on their own terms. 🧜‍♀️ 🐰 🐱 👑 🎨 🎶❤️💫
