💔With heavy hearts our only Catholic school in Española will be closing their doors after 76 years .💔 We would like to invite all HCCS alumni and all who have helped our school in any way throughout the years to our Grandparents Day celebration. We will begin with Mass at 9:00 a.m this Friday 5/15/2026 and immediately following, our students will present their performance in the gym.

The Archbishop has made the difficult decision to close our school. After 76 wonderful years, Holy Cross Catholic School has come to an end.

But when one door closes, another opens. Our Lord has placed a new dream on our hearts — the opening of Anima Christi Learning Center. With faith and hope, we look forward to what He has planned.

We pray you will join us tomorrow as we celebrate our students, honor our grandparents, and take this next step together.

Moise Velasquez and Sofia Trujillo,for receiving the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Distinguished Disciple award, often celebrated annually, honors students, teachers, and volunteers from local Catholic schools who embody Christ-like character, compassion, and service to their community.
