Savvy teens in their concurrent writing workshop give adults target-reader feedback. Choose virtual event Oct. 8-10 or 15-17, 2021 (3 to 4 hrs daily; time zones vary).

We offer qualified adult writers WHOLE-NOVEL critiques by our top-notch editor *or* agent. Also, critiques on limited PARTIALS by our editor *and/or* agent. Plus, if space, critiques with a published author or story consultant, tailored to you.

EDITOR-AGENT FACULTY includes Executive Editor Sarah Shumway (Bloomsbury USA Children's Books); and Editor Trisha de Guzman (Farrar, Straus & Giroux/Macmillan); two agents to be announced soon, based on manuscripts submitted in the May-June selection process.

Critiques include both written feedback and (for full novels) two 45-minute Zoom consults, with peer critiquers invited to sit in. We always offer faculty who have a wide range of middle-grade and YA interests—and a strong desire to discover new talent.

FOCUS SESSIONS highlight broad revision techniques, line editing, query letter "meat," literary discussions, and/or marketing tips -- all in the context of your whole novels and selected partials. Collegial format; college accreditation may be granted. Also, teens' brief fiction samples are critiqued by our editor and agent, shared with adult writers.
