🏀💙 A slam dunk for teamwork and sportsmanship!

Gateway’s 4th and 5th grade girls recently played two games against Holy Cross, showing creativity, collaboration, and integrity. This marks the first time in over a decade that girls in these grades have represented Gateway’s basketball program!

After the most recent game, our middle school basketball team lifted up their younger teammates with words of encouragement, celebrating their progress and reminding them to focus on learning. Their compassion turned a tough moment into one filled with smiles and encouragement.

A special shoutout to our Athletic Director and Student Support, Branden, for helping foster a program where students grow not only as athletes, but also as teammates and people. We’re proud of all our players for representing Gateway with heart! 💙

There's always something growing at Life Lab. 🌱

Sunflowers planted by last year’s kindergarteners are now blooming, students are getting to know the trees around them, and pears, figs, and corn are making their way from the garden into curious hands. There’s compost to explore, vegetables to harvest, and fresh pesto and marinara to make with ingredients grown right here on campus.

Our Life Lab garden gives students the chance to understand where food comes from, care for the world around them, and build a deeper connection to the food they eat and the environment they share. 🌻🌽🍅

A big shoutout to our Life Lab teacher and the whole Life Lab team for creating these meaningful experiences for our students!
