Fern Grove has an exciting new one-day option for newly enrolling Fiddleheads (ages 3-6)! Our One-Day Monday offer young explorers the chance to experience the magic of outdoor learning, build friendships, and discover the wonders of the natural world, all with the flexibility of a once-a-week program.

From meandering along forest trails and observing seasonal changes to imaginative play, hands-on discoveries, and joyful adventures with friends, each day invites children to follow their curiosity, build confidence, and deepen their connection with nature. It’s a lovely way to dip your toes into the Fern Grove community and give your little explorer a taste of nature-based learning!

At Fern Grove Summer Camp this week, little hands transformed egg cartons into colorful dragonflies, ready to take flight! 🐉🦋

Also spotted: a hawk ever so carefully observing our group at meal time. Perhaps hoping for a nibble! We love when the wildlife pauses to check out our wildlings. We hope you have a lovely weekend and spend some time outdoors 🌲

Inspired by our natural surroundings as well as the French Impressionist Claude Monet, the Fiddleheads (3-6y) created their very own W is for Waterlilies 3D Art creations. Each of their works is unique to the child, their developmental stage, and their own creativity. They practiced writing “waterlilies” and read a book about the artist, incorporating literacy into this project as well. 🪷🪷🪷
