Here are some helpful videos to answer questions on the FAFSA. The notice that your student's FAFSA Submission Summary is ready to view the studentaid.gov has said will be emailed to your student's email in mid-March. There will be 4 sections to your FAFSA Submission Summary located on your student's FAFSA account dashboard. There will be a button on the top right of your student's summary to add more colleges and/or make corrections to your FAFSA. Hi Everyone, As many of you know it is best to not try to submit the 2024 FAFSA until mid-January. The soft-launch of the FAFSA means it is up intermittently. And there are periods of time it is not up while the bugs are being worked out. There is a tool you can see the deadline to submit your FAFSA for each of the states on the FAFSA website. The website may be too busy to log on for the tool but don't worry for the state of Calif for applying for the Cal Grant the date to have it submitted is in the month of June. I recommend checking with the colleges your student is applying to for their FAFSA deadline. If you get the FAFSA submitted by the end of January or the beginning of February you should be fine. Patience is a very good thing when it comes to this year's FAFSA. Best to everyone and Happy New Year!
