A huge THANK YOU to our incredible families and donors for making this event such a success! From helping with setup, baking cookies, collecting donations, donating auction items, buying tickets, volunteering, and showing up with such generous support — this event would not have been possible without you.

A special thank you to all of our donors for the amazing items, experiences, and contributions that made the auction so exciting and successful.

Together, we raised $3,862 for scholarships and activities for next year!

Hosting the auction for the first time in our new location made this year especially meaningful, and we are so grateful for this creative and generous community.

We can’t wait to see what this amazing group of families comes up with for next year!

In a world overflowing with distractions and clicks… we believe a child's curiosity matters most.

At Acton Academy's Spark Studio, your child experiences the fullness of learning that is filled with movement, imagination, creativity, exploration, and hands-on discovery — the way early learning was meant to feel.

Instead of tablets and endless screen time, our Spark Heroes build confidence through play, real-world experiences, meaningful relationships, and joyful problem-solving.

🌱 Montessori-inspired environment
📚 Screen-free early learning
💡 Designed for curious minds ages 4–8

Because technology will always be there.
But the magic of childhood is happening right now.

Acton Academey Santa Cruz sees a world full of everything (especially screens) but we know that a child's curiosity matters most. ✨

At our Spark Studio, children learn through play, movement, creativity, exploration, and hands-on discovery — not tablets or computers. We believe the early years should be filled with imagination, problem-solving, character development and real-world experiences that spark a lifelong love of learning.

Why? Because tech can wait. Curiosity can’t.

What happens when young people are trusted, challenged, and truly seen?

Hear some of the voices of Acton: our Head of Program, our heroes, and our parents sharing the “why” behind what makes Acton Academy Santa Cruz so special.

It’s about freedom with responsibility.
Curiosity instead of compliance.
Growth over perfection.
A community that believes every hero is capable of meaningful work, leadership, and discovering their unique calling.

We are deeply grateful for the families, guides, and heroes who continue building this journey together.

This is more than an educational program.
It’s a different way to grow up.
