The Letter of the Week is V! V is for volcano!! 🌋

The children took turns making lava run down the side of the volcano! Some of the preschoolers knew that there are volcanoes in Hawaii!!

The Letter of the Week is V!

V is for vegetables!! Today I showed the preschoolers some of the different vegetables that were in our stories! They had never seen beets or purple cabbage before!!

Look at our beautiful tomatoes and zucchini from our Science Garden!! 🪏 🍅🥒

We even had our first green beans!!

One of the preschoolers was such a good helper today! She helped pull the weeds from the vegetable and flower gardens. Then she crushed the eggshells and added them to our “garden soup.” Lastly, she picked off all the dried marigold flowers and put the seeds in our Ziploc bag! It makes my heart happy to see children really take an interest and love in gardening! 🧑‍🌾 🪏 🌿🌸

We have some nice plump tomatoes starting to turn color in the Science Garden! The pear shaped yellow one is actually called “yellow pear.” It’s a cherry snack size. This was our first one and it was huge! 🍅🍅🍅

Our green beans are also coming to life! The vines will be racing up the string soon!

It was a beautiful day for ball races and “red light green light!”
