500+ backpacks! One incredible community 🙌🏽 When we started this year’s Backpack Drive, we had one goal, make sure local students walk into their first day of school feeling prepared and confident. Today, because of YOU, we can proudly say… we did it! More than 500 backpacks were donated by our amazing community and this year our local small business and real estate community stepped up in a BIG way. The generosity was nothing short of inspiring. This wasn’t about backpacks. It was about neighbors helping neighbors. Businesses giving back. A community proving that when we come together, incredible things happen. To every person who donated, shared a post, volunteered, or helped spread the word… THANK YOU. You changed the start of a school year for hundreds of local kids. Today, the City Council recognized GV’s JROTC program for earning a perfect score on its unit inspection this school year. This outstanding achievement is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and dedication of our cadets and instructors. We are incredibly proud of you all. We are incredibly fortunate to have a team of educators who go above and beyond every single day. Our teachers hold high expectations for every student, providing the essential support and encouragement needed for each individual to reach their fullest potential. Perhaps most importantly, they create safe, welcoming spaces for our students to thrive.

Beyond the lessons taught in the classroom, our teachers play a vital role in helping students develop the skills they need to be "Opportunity Ready" for their lives after graduation. The positive impact our teachers have on our students, their families, and our entire community extends far beyond the school walls, and we appreciate all they do!
