Miss Chris’s class has been learning about 🪲🐞🐛🐜🪳
We LOVE bugs and have had so much fun reading bug books, making bug art, and finding bugs in the play yard. We used our knowledge and experience to create our own bug with interesting features, diet and habitat. Some bugs have legs, wings, stingers, pinchers and antennas.
We built so many skills. Counting, classification, fine motor skills, creativity, and finally expressive speech when they told us all about their bugs:
“This is bug’s name is “Jumpy”. He has 2 wings, 2 legs and he can fly. Jumpy lives in a cave and eats worms. He has a poisonous stinger”
