Do you have any special foods for New Year's? Japanese Osechi food is like eating turkey on Thanksgiving Day. Some people say they don't like it because it is just a traditional dish, and nowadays more and more families don't eat Osechi on New Year's Day. But I think there are many Japanese who would like to eat this kind of food only on this day.

Each prefecture of Japan is interesting with its own specialties and characteristics.
As you progress through the levels, you will be able to research your chosen prefecture and make a presentation about it. It is also fun to learn about the places you travel to and where your friends are from!

If you are going to travel to Japan, I recommend that you study Japanese first!

Many Japanese enjoy Christmas as one of the winter events even if they are not Christians.🎄🎅
Families with children spend Christmas with their families, but adults enjoy Christmas with their lovers or friends.
The characteristic features of Christmas are eating Christmas cake, KFC, and fried chicken.🍗🍗🍗
It is said that about 12% of the annual sales of KFC in Japan are made during the three days of Christmas.💰
