This, in a way, represents how modern mothers perceive themselves in our (American) culture. Both in the issues it surfaces and also the fact that this article, written by a popular parenting mediator, informs that culture of what is/isn't on Mommy's minds. It's sad to think women would ever feel guilty about most of these concepts or that they would be put in this position in the first place.
