Most cartridge reloading manuals only provide a few combinations of load data for each powder and bullet type. The purpose of the regression analysis is to help you figure out the how much powder to use to obtain specific projectile velocities when reloading by filling in the gaps between the given minimum and maximum loads. The following program is provided by Close Focus Research (CFR) for those who design and manufacture Bullet Resistant Glazings also known as Bullet Proof Windows.
This Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet program can be used to visually design bullet proof window cross sections and provide the designer with scaled 3D illustration drawings of their laminate designs. The Professional Version is similar to the Free version, but includes an extensive Material Database containing over 5,400 material / thickness combinations and a Design Database so that you can save and retrieve all your designs. It also will calculate the raw material costs, the overall thickness, and weight for each design in both "Metric and English" units.
The Professional version is being released as Shareware so that you can try it out for free before purchasing the program. The only limits imposed within the program is that in Shareware mode you are limited to saving up to 18 designs in the Design Database and you will periodically be prompted to register the program. If you decide to buy it, upon completion of the purchase transaction, you will be emailed a User Name and Registration Code to remove the Shareware limitations.
