SkyZone days are quickly becoming a favorite for our CalKids students! 🧡
The laughter, movement, teamwork, and pure joy say it all. Watching the kids challenge themselves, cheer each other on, and just be kids together is such a gift. Even better—screens fade into the background when real connection and active fun take center stage.

These trips are about more than jumping. They’re about building friendships, confidence, and community in a way that feels natural and joyful.

A new school year begins and another opportunity to connect and create ❤️

For our families and friends join us in October for an evening of stories and fun 😀

While the older campers were away Ms Patty and the younger ones made it a great day for play!

The kids are fascinated. Ms Kira got a vibration pad for Mr. Paul and the kids are lining up as if it were an amusement ride 😀

🌅 Every sunrise offers a reminder—not just of time passing—but of the gift of presence. As parents and teachers 👩‍🏫👨‍👧, we're often focused on where we want our children to go, what we want them to learn 📚, or how we want them to behave. But in the rush of daily life 🏃‍♀️💨, it’s easy to forget the truth at the heart of meaningful connection: we must meet them where they are. 💛

When we shift our focus from correcting to connecting 🤝, something remarkable happens. We create an opening for trust, understanding, and transformation 🌱. In this space, teachable moments don’t need to be orchestrated—they appear naturally ✨. Whether it’s helping a frustrated child solve a puzzle 🧩, calming a storm of emotions 🌧️❤️, or guiding them through a disagreement 🤔➡️💬, these moments are everywhere.

📘 Dr. Seuss’s beloved Oh, the Places You’ll Go is often gifted at milestones 🎓 because it speaks to this journey—the idea of discovering where you're meant to go and navigating the bumps along the way. But the real magic for us as adults lies in helping children realize that it’s okay not to have all the answers ❓💕. What matters most is showing up with curiosity, compassion, and consistency. 🔍💖📆

🧙‍♂️ Let’s remember Harry Potter’s Wilkie Twycross, teaching the art of Apparition with his three Ds: Destination, Determination, and Deliberation. As educators and caregivers, we can apply the same wisdom—knowing where we’re guiding our kids 📍, staying committed to the journey 💪, and taking intentional, gentle steps toward connection 👣.

The secret isn’t in teaching children to see things from our perspective 👀. It’s about tuning into theirs. When we validate their experience ✅🧠, we give them the tools to navigate their world with confidence 🧭. We give them roots and wings 🌳🕊️.
