What a blessing it was to welcome Mr. Diaz to OLPH today!

Our students had the incredible opportunity to hear his personal story of faith and friendship with Pope Francis and to see Pope Francisโ€™ shoes and zucchetto up close. A truly special experience our Dolphins wonโ€™t soon forget. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Todayโ€™s October Formal Mass was beautifully led by our 7th Grade students as we celebrated the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, a special reminder of Godโ€™s loving care and protection over each of us.

We were also blessed to recognize our OLPH Ambassadors for Curiosity! May we always encourage our Dolphins to stay curious, to ask questions, seek understanding and discover the many ways God is at work in the world around us.

We were so grateful for the wonderful turnout and for the meaningful time spent together reflecting on how we can make our homes places where faith is lived, shared and strengthened.

Today, five OLPH alumni, now students at Bishop Alemany High School, returned to campus to spend time with our 8th graders as they begin their high school selection journey.

They shared their experiences, answered questions, offered advice and gave our students an honest look at the transition from OLPH to high school. Most importantly, they reminded our 8th graders that while choosing a high school can feel like a big decision, this next chapter is also something to be excited about!

We are so grateful to our alumni for taking the time to come back, encourage our students and share what theyโ€™ve learned along the way.

Once a Dolphin, always a Dolphin! ๐Ÿ’™

What an AMAZING first week of our OLPH Read-A-Thon! ๐Ÿ“š

The excitement around campus has been so much fun to watch! Our leaderboards are constantly changing, the competition is heating up and we have to admitโ€ฆ seeing our teachers get a little competitive as they keep checking the standings might be one of our favorite parts! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ†

Most importantly, we are so incredibly thankful for the generosity of our OLPH families, friends and supporters. The donations just keep coming in and every single one is bringing us closer to our goals and closer to making our new athletic field a reality! ๐Ÿฌ

Weโ€™re only one week in and our Dolphins are already doing incredible things. Keep reading, keep sharing and keep those pledges comingโ€”the race is definitely ON!

Thank you for an incredible first week, OLPH!

Our OLPH Faculty & Staff stepped away from the busyness of the school day to come together in faith for our annual retreat. We began our morning where we are always called to begin, with Mass, before entering into a beautiful, faith-filled retreat led by Greg Perea, Director of Faith Formation and Religious Instruction for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

It was a meaningful day of prayer, reflection, conversation, and fellowship as we renewed our hearts for the important ministry of Catholic education and the students and families we are blessed to serve. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
