Today's SUPER Power: Reliable. 🔒

Our students learned that being Reliable means living by a simple rule: "I do what I say I'll do, I show up when others need me, and I follow through even when it's not easy." Reliable heroes tell the truth, do their best, and stay true to what's right, not just what's popular. They prove their character through their actions, day after day.

One of our favorite lines from today's lesson: "Pressure makes diamonds." Taking on hard challenges head-on and solving problems makes you come out stronger and brighter on the other side.

Their leadership challenge today is a special one: write a note to their principal or give them a high five in the hallway and thank them for being a reliable leader at our school. 💛

Can our SUPER Hero parents reach all 50 states? We think so. 💛

Share your student’s pledge link with anyone you know outside our state. Family, old friends, coworkers, college roommates. People from anywhere in the world can pledge, and every single one helps our school.

Drop a 📍 below if you’ve shared with someone out of state. Let’s see how far we can reach!

SUPER power of the day: Purpose. 🎯

Today our students learned that Purpose means knowing your “why” and letting it guide your choices. Not just going through the motions, but moving with real direction toward the things that matter to you. They talked about how staying focused is tough when distractions are everywhere.

The lesson used Stephen Curry as an example: the NBA’s all-time leading three-point scorer didn’t get there overnight. He practiced thousands of shots, day after day, even when he was tired. Those small steps, repeated with real effort, built something incredible. The same is true for our students.

Their leadership challenge: do one thing today that shows the kind of person you want to become. At the end of the day, check in and ask: “Did my actions match the purpose I want to live out?” 💛

First superpower unlocked: Steady. 🛡️
Today our students learned their SUPER Hero breath: breathe in like you’re smelling a flower, breathe out like you’re blowing out a candle. It sounds simple, but it’s how heroes stay calm and strong on the inside even when things feel out of control on the outside. The big question they’re carrying with them today: “Am I using my power, or is my power using me?”
Their leadership challenge is to use their SUPER Hero breath three times today and then teach it to someone at home tonight. So if your student grabs you after school and asks you to smell a flower and blow out a candle, you’ll know why. 💛

The pep rally was AMAZING and our students are officially in super hero mode. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Apex SUPER Heroes is underway and pledging is now open!

Here’s how to support our school: When pledging opens, log in to myapexevent.com with your child’s access code or scan the QR code which can be found on their VIP Badge.

Personalize your child’s page by adding a picture or video, then share to invite friends and family to donate to help Valley View Elementary!
