Everyone benefits from labelling you with the mental health issues - except you.
This is why I work so hard to educate millions of women and girls about trauma responses - and how to stop seeing themselves as ‘disordered’ when others have framed them that way, or even convinced themselves that they are mentally ill after abuse and trauma.
In my new book, Click. Stalk. Destroy - I show how stalking victims are deliberately framed as delusional and paranoid - and then labelled, medicated, and ignored. In my 2022 book, Sexy But Psycho, I show how women and girls have psychiatry used against them.
And this is all why I set up The Amethyst Programme and my 1:1 mentoring programmes over on my official site - and it’s also why my wife and I launched - to fight back on women’s behalf. In courts. In complaints. In investigations. In their lives.

Women's Wisdom Village workshop May 28th 6:30-8:30pm Zoom
If you enjoy guided meditations and encounters with the other side, you'll love this!
At the heart of this workshop is a guided inner practice called active imagination, developed by Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung as a way of entering into a dialogue with the unconscious.
Menopause is not simply a set of symptoms to manage. It is an initiation — a passage into a new relationship with yourself. This journey is not linear, and no two women experience it the same way. You may experience a wide range of emotions — and yet, beneath all of that, something else begins to stir: something ancient, instinctive, and deeply your own.
While modern medicine, Chinese medicine, and other modalities offer important support for the body, this passage is not only physical.
It is also psychological, emotional, and deeply personal. Too often, that part is left out of the conversation. This workshop is an invitation to include it — to turn toward the feelings, desires, and truths that may have been set aside for years in order to care for others, to function, or to belong.
With gentle guidance, you will be led into a relaxed, receptive inner state. From there, you'll be invited to meet whatever images, figures, or sensations arise within you.
These inner figures may surprise you. They may carry grief, or wisdom, or something you have not yet found words for.

What if the “sexually dangerous woman” was never a myth—but a tool of control?
How have stories about female sexuality been used to justify fear, shame, and violence against women?
Join us on Goddess Matters this Wednesday at 10am Pacific as we interview Emma Woods, the author of Bite Me. with cohost Andrea Slominski.
We’ll explore the history of the va**na dentata myth, patriarchal control of women’s bodies, and why reclaiming female sexuality matters now more than ever.

THE MENOpausE MAp
INTRODUCING THE PROGRAM
An 8-week, trauma-informed group coaching experience designed to help you:
✔ Understand what’s happening in your body (and how to support it)
✔ Make sense of the emotional and psychological shifts of midlife
✔ Navigate changing roles, needs, and priorities
✔ Reclaim your identity, voice, and direction
✔ Step into your next chapter with clarity, power, and purpose
Guided by Dr. Andrea M. Slominski, a specialist in midlife and menopause, this program blends:
🌀Science-backed insight
🌀Depth and archetypal psychology
🌀Real-life tools and guidance
🌀A supportive community of women walking the same path
Menopause is the initiation 🔥
The Map shows you the way...
leading you into your most powerful next chapter.
Menopause, Midlife, and post-menopause aren’t the end of your life…
It’s the initiation into your most powerful one.
🌀 If you’ve been feeling:
Disconnected from your body
Uncertain about who you are now
Emotionally overwhelmed or exhausted
Questioning your roles, relationships, or direction
You’re not alone.
And you’re not broken.
You’ve entered a new landscape—without a map.
No One Prepared You For This Stage Of Life.
Not the physical changes.
Not the emotional intensity.
Not the identity shift that quietly asks:
“What do I want now?”
Most women try to push through…
Google their symptoms…
Or assume something is wrong with them.
But what’s actually happening is this:
✨ You are in the middle of a full-life transformation—physical, psychological, and spiritual.
And like every powerful transition…
There is a path.
There is a pattern.
There is a map.

May 28th in the Women's Wisdom Village
At the heart of this workshop is a guided inner practice called active imagination, developed by Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung as a way of entering into a dialogue with the unconscious.
With gentle guidance, you will be led into a relaxed, receptive inner state. From there, you'll be invited to meet whatever images, figures, or sensations arise within you.
These inner figures may surprise you. They may carry grief, or wisdom, or something you have not yet found words for.
Rather than analyzing or interpreting what appears, you will be encouraged simply to listen — and to let what is alive in you begin to speak.
Following the guided journey, you will have time to engage with what arose through journaling and reflection. You will be invited to share your experience with the group — and equally free not to. This is a supported and confidential space, and what you discover belongs entirely to you.
Menopause is also a time of reclaiming a deeper kind of power — not driven by hormones or external roles, but rooted in who you are. A power that holds everything: joy and grief, rage and compassion, fear and desire. It has always been there, beneath years of adaptation and accommodation. It is time to give yourself the same attention and care you have so freely given to others.
This is not a workshop about getting through menopause.
It is an invitation to discover what it is opening in you —
and to begin living from that place.

Back from the In-Between
Hi Ladies, I'm back from the rear guard of life... where I feel as if I've been living in the in-between. It's hard to describe, and I'm sure that some of you may also feel the same.
From the ongoing shocks of politics, ICE raids and hate culture, to Trump's war, from the Manosphere, Motherless and the 62 million, to the Epstein files and no accountability or justice, from the advance and threat/promise of an AI-controlled world, to the gutting of the Voting Rights Act, from the big beautiful ballroom to Google's search info "As of early 2026, about 1 million people have lost Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage since 2025, with projections indicating up to 15-17 million could lose coverage by 2034." it has been a lot. . . . .
It has been TOO MUCH. What can anyone say? I have read some incredibly beautiful essays on all or most of this, and after agreeing with various writers, I felt that it has all been said.
What more can I add to the ongoing conversation that hasn't been said?
So I have been focusing on my work instead. Doing some in-person classes and workhops in my town.....
Offering support on line.... holding the mythic online spaces to interact and stay connected to each other and the sacred feminine, that despite IT ALL, is still on the rise, and is THE mighty and powerful force that will prevail.
It has become more clear, that what we are building is the foundation for the new myth, the new culture, or new world to come. What we do now is nurturing the roots of a future that we will not see, and, that there will be more dangerous and dark roads for us to walk before the dawn.
I imagine how the women felt when they watched the destruction of the temples of their goddesses.. . . that had to be worse, the beginning of the repression of the sacred...feminine. We are witnessing its long-awaited return.
I'm launching a new version of the group coaching program that focuses on the seven realms of change. I'm offering two in-person local sessions and two small online cohorts.
I will also be offering two weekend retreats at my home in Southern CA this summer. There are three bedrooms available in my home and many other accommodations locally. More to follow. Let me know if you're interested.
The emails and posts will follow shortly.
The good news? The strength of the wild woman, the archetypal sacred feminine, is stronger and more present than ever.
I have been missing from social media and here in the Regent's Room, observing and reconfiguring my psych's response to the world.
Many thanks to JanMarie for keeping the RR alive and full of inspiration, art, and poetry.
Much Love,
Dr. A
