Regency is here in all its glory!
Earlier this year, an unsettling survey finding bounced around the internet: 70% of women say they feel increasingly invisible as they age. However, the sixth annual Forbes 50 Over 50 tells a very different story. Women across the country are doing some of their most ambitious, influential and powerful work after age 50.

Tonight! Art Journaling workshop, 6:30 pm Pacific
Hi ladies,
You do not need to be an artist for this imaginative, symbolic, creative event!
Here is the link to find out MORE. 6:30 -8:30 pm Pacific tonight on Zoom. https://www.drandreaslominski.com/events-1/art-journaling-unlock-your-creative-unconscious
Tickets are $35.00
Gathering Your Materials
You don't need to buy anything special for our time together.
Before we meet, spend a little time wandering through your home and gathering whatever calls to you.
Bring a journal or some sturdy paper, along with anything you enjoy making marks with—colored pencils, crayons, markers, a child's watercolor set, paints...whatever you already have.
Then look for things you might tear, cut, layer, or collage: colored or patterned papers, old greeting cards, magazines, bits of letters, newspaper, wrapping paper, photographs, ticket stubs, scraps of fabric—anything that catches your eye.
Don't worry about whether something is “artistic” or whether you know what you're going to do with it.If you're drawn to it, bring it.
You'll also want scissors and a glue stick or other simple adhesive. Most importantly, please don't go out and buy a collection of expensive art supplies.
This isn't about having the right materials. It's about becoming curious about what you choose—and what might want to emerge from them.
I hope to see you there!
Namasté,
Dr. A.

Hummingbirds are amazing. I have a fun and quizzical relationship with the hummers in my yard. One is mature, overly protective of the feeders; others are juveniles, experts at sneaking in when "Stinker" isn't looking.
One of the babies, I think is a girl... often asks me to stand guard from the older adult when they try to feed. The adult won't shoo the baby away if I stand near while they are feeding.
Yesterday, I'm at the kitchen table, and the baby flies up to the feeder circles it, tries to feed, and comes to the window directly in front of me, and then back and forth to the feeder, and to me at the window. They were telling me to check the feeder.
It was full of ants.
The intelligence of nature never stops amazing me.

How many summers do we get?
A little note to my Regents...
You've all been part of this community for a reason. Some of you have walked beside me for years, and a few of you even gathered around the fire in Oceanside. If you've been quietly wondering about this year's retreats, I wanted to share these thoughts with you. . .
How many summers do we get?
Not how many appear on the calendar...
How many are we truly awake enough to live?
There comes a season in a woman's life when she realizes that time is no longer something to postpone.
The conversations she longs for.
The laughter.
The deep rest.
The quiet moments around a fire with women who understand without explanation.
These are no longer luxuries.
They become necessities for the soul.
If you've found yourself thinking about the Summer Retreat, wondering whether this might be your year...
Don't ignore that feeling.
In mythology, the hearth fire was never just about warmth.
It was where stories were shared.Where wisdom was passed from one woman to another.
Where we remembered who we were.
Perhaps what is calling you isn't a retreat.
Perhaps it's your own soul asking you to come sit by the fire.
I'd love to welcome you there.
❤️ Dr. A.
What is your soul asking of you before this summer comes to its close?
If you're on my email list, your invitation is in your email. If not, send me an emil [email protected] with " retreat " in the subject line, and I'll reach out to you.
