UC Santa Cruz's AI summer program puts high school students in the driver's seat — not just learning about artificial intelligence, but building with it. Guided by UC instructors and researchers on our Silicon Valley Campus in Santa Clara, students ages 14–17 spend 2–3 weeks working in small teams on real projects, developing skills that go far beyond the classroom.

This isn't a passive intro to tech. It's hands-on, college-level immersion — the kind of experience that shows up on applications, sparks curiosity, and sometimes changes everything.
