The Treasurer plays a key role in the ongoing operation of our PTA unit! They are the custodian of our finances such as donation pickups, deposits, reimbursements checks, school and event budgets and more.

Family Science Night was a huge success. Over 200 people were in attendance. The magic experiments were a hit with students. Thanks to Chella Slimak for organizing and for all the teachers who stayed late to help run the stations!! Have a great week off everyone! Children's Discovery Museum is always a pleasure to work with!
THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our 2nd Annual SOUPer Bowl of Caring Canned Food Drive Competition! We collected more pounds of food than we had expected and have all of you to thank for this! Not only was the competition fun and exciting for our students, but we also supported families in our LOCAL community. West Valley Community Services was very grateful for all that we did. So again... THANK YOU!!
NOW... HERE ARE THE RESULTS:
AFC collected 479 lbs of food
NFC collected 487 lbs of food and WIN!!
COMBINED we collected 965 lbs of food (WAY past the 800 lbs we had strived for) and EVERYONE WINS EXTRA RECESS!

The Souper Bowl Canned Food Drive Competition is in full effect!!
AFC took the early lead, but NFC has officially passed them up! Who knows who will win!!
AND... because of how much fun everyone is having we will be extending the fun for one more week! Let's meet our goal of 750 lbs of food and win an extended recess!!
Our Souper Bowl competition will now end on Friday 2/7/2020 at 9:00 am!
Winners will be announced on Monday morning.
