Today at 4p.m. EST, Santa Clara Law’s International Human Rights Clinic (IHRC) is proud to participate in an Inter-American Commission on Human Rights hearing examining the effects of special economic zones and low financial transparency jurisdictions on fiscal justice and climate change.

Our clinical students—Astrid Souto (3L), Colleen Gill (2L), Jemila Moses (2L), Melissa Chen (2L), Phill Hu (2L), Simon Choe (2L), Shelby Sartor (2L), and Denisse Vera-Romo (2L)— and alumna Rochel Go (JD ‘24) are advocating for human rights in Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Barbuda, Puerto Rico, and other Latin American and Caribbean countries.
