This summer, we’re taking it up a notch with the introduction of our special workshops, designed to inspire and educate!
Hand and Machine Sewing:
Unlock the power of design and creation! In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of textile art—from mastering basic hand-stitching techniques to operating a sewing machine. They’ll build confidence and creativity as they craft unique projects, finishing the week with tangible creations they can wear or display, according to their skill level.
Embroidery:
Transform plain fabric into intricate works of art. This workshop introduces students to the delicate craft of embroidery, teaching a variety of stitches, patterns, and hoop techniques. Whether they are looking to personalize their clothes or create decorative wall art, students will learn the patience and precision required to express themselves through thread.
Jewelry Making:
Design, craft, and wear your own style! Students will explore the world of jewelry making, learning techniques like wire wrapping, bead stringing, and assembly. This workshop focuses on color theory and material selection, allowing students to experiment with different textures and designs to produce high-quality, professional-looking accessories.
Book & Magazine Publishing:
Turn ideas into a finished masterpiece. In this workshop, students will hone their storytelling skills, explore various genres, and develop their unique voice. The journey goes beyond just writing—students will learn the basics of editing, layout, and design, culminating in the publishing of an official book of their own and/or a class magazine that they can share with family and friends.
