Thanks so much to Michele Fernández for spending some time with our Symphonic Band, and to the Santa Clara Vanguard for helping to organize this clinic!
Santa Clara High School Bruin Music, under the direction of Johnny Erdman, offers a vibrant and comprehensive music program for students of all skill levels.
The program boasts five curricular ensembles, providing a strong foundation in instrumental and vocal performance: two concert choirs, two symphonic bands, and a string orchestra. Beyond the classroom, students can further explore their musical passions through a diverse range of extracurricular activities, including a dynamic marching band, a captivating winterguard, and various chamber ensembles

This national designation celebrates schools across the United States for their dedication to music education and for ensuring that high-quality music learning is accessible to all students. This incredible honor is a direct reflection of the hard work of our student musicians and the unwavering support of our families and community.
A huge thanks for all of the support and for keeping music a massive part of what makes Santa Clara High School and Santa Clara Unified School District so special.

Huge congratulations to the SCHS String Orchestra for their outstanding performance this past Saturday, February 28th, at the National Orchestra Festival. Playing at the Hilton Union Square for the American String Teachers Association National Conference was a major milestone, and the String Orchestra delivered a professional, high-level performance that proudly represented our school.
