Santa Clara University LEAD Scholars Program “The First Generation of Scholars, The Next Generation of Leaders” |

09/27/2026

Say hello to our newest LEAD Scholars!

Twenty-three years ago, the Santa Clara University LEAD Scholars Program was created to support first-generation college students and help them navigate the path to a four-year degree.

This year, that commitment continues to grow. Ahead of Welcome Weekend 2026, a record-breaking cohort of 195 first-gen Broncos arrived on campus. They join more than 600 upperclass LEAD Scholars who are building community and blazing new trails together.
