Show your Support on SCU’s Day Of Giving - April 8!

The Ignatian Center’s Dan McCormick Technology Fund was established in December 2020 by Katie McCormick and her family in honor of the late Dan McCormick ’86. Katie’s involvement at SCU has revolved around the Ignatian Center, where she was a deeply engaged member of the Advisory Board since July 2011. When the Ignatian Center launched the Thriving Neighbors Program in the Greater Washington area of San Jose, it became Katie’s focus and passion as a board member. When the McCormick family sought a partner to help steward the vision of the Dan McCormick Fund, the Ignatian Center’s Thriving Neighbors program was the perfect fit. The purpose of the fund is to provide technology to improve the educational opportunities for children and families in areas where Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education maintains community partnerships. The program builds off the passion of the family to accompany the underserved and to keep the Bronco spirit and Dan’s legacy thriving. Today, the Dan McCormick Technology Fund is an integral part of the programmatic offerings of Thriving Neighbors, seeking to improve the lives of local children and families and enhance the education and formational experience for SCU students.

This Day of Giving, show your support of the Thriving Neighbor’s iPad program and give to the Dan McCormick Technology Fund!
