黃濱多年活躍於國際舞台,累積了完整而成熟的演奏與教學經驗。

這一次,她選擇把焦點放在老師本身的演奏與思考——
因為老師正在拉的曲目,往往最真實地反映出教學與音樂思考的狀態。

不論你目前正在準備的是哪一首作品,從 Bach 與 Paganini 的無伴奏,到各時期的 Sonata、Concerto,乃至炫技曲,技巧建構、風格選擇、詮釋方向與音樂判斷,皆可於課堂中即時提出,進行深入的臨床式討論。

臨床:不談抽象理論,只處理實際演奏與教學問題!

享有盛譽的美國國際音樂大賽(USIMC)將於8月16-17日在聖荷西舉行。 今年大賽的壓軸重頭戲是8月30日晚間舉行的享有國際盛譽的青年小提琴家朱凱源獨奏會 “From Winners to Masters”。 朱凱源曾榮獲曼紐因國際比賽與帕格尼尼國際大賽首獎,展現其無與倫比的音樂才華。他的琴聲響徹柏林音樂廳、倫敦皇家節日音樂廳、新加坡濱海藝術中心、馬德里國家音樂廳、布魯塞爾美術宮,以及美國約翰·甘迺迪表演藝術中心,征服全球樂迷的心。從技巧到情感,從舞台到靈魂,他的演奏不僅是音樂,更是藝術的極致體現。

朱凱源成長於灣區, 在六歲時就來參加美國國際大賽並獲得第一名, 之後他經常來參加大賽, 幾乎囊括了所有年齡組的第一獎。今年8月他將特地從紐約來演奏, 是專門為USIMC籌款而舉辦音樂會。

該場音樂會並得到了同是成長於灣區的青年鋼琴家段莎拉的大力相助,段莎拉是費城國際鋼琴比賽第一名獲得者, 也是多年前USIMC比賽的第一獎獲得者。

在8月30日下午, 大賽還將在同一地點舉行2025年大賽獲獎者音樂會。

The prestigious United States International Music Competition (USIMC) will be held in San Jose

“From Winners to Masters” by internationally acclaimed young violinist Kevin Zhu, taking place
on the evening of August 30.

Kevin Zhu has won first prizes at both the Menuhin International Competition and the Paganini International Violin Competition, showcasing his unparalleled musical talent. His performances have resonated through world-renowned venues including the Konzerthaus Berlin, London’s Royal Festival Hall, Esplanade in Singapore, Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, Bozar, Brussels, the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the U.S., captivating audiences around the globe. From technique to emotion, from stage presence to soul, his playing is not just music—it is the epitome of artistic expression.

Kevin Zhu grew up in the Bay Area and first competed in the USIMC at the age of six, winning
first place. He has since frequently participated in the competition, sweeping first prizes across
nearly all age groups. This August, he will make a special trip from New York to perform in a
benefit concert specifically organized to raise funds for the USIMC.

The concert will also feature strong support from fellow Bay Area native, young pianist Sarah
Duan, who won first place at the Philadelphia International Piano Competition and was also a
first prize winner at the USIMC years ago.

Earlier on August 30, in the afternoon, the competition will also present a Winners Concert
showcasing the 2025 USIMC laureates at the same venue.

2025 United States International Music Competition Due on June 5

The annual United States International Music Competition (USIMC), a signature event of the Chinese Music Teacher Association of Northern California (CMTANC), has been held for over 30 years.

The 2025 competition will take place on August 16-17 at the Christian Valley School Music Department in San Jose, California. Open to musicians worldwide, the competition has an age limit of 35 years. As in previous years, the competition has invited renowned musicians as judges for various instrumental and vocal categories.

Newly invited judges for this year include:
Piano Judge: Victor Rosenbaum – A distinguished professor at the New England Conservatory for 53 years, Rosenbaum has performed extensively across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He is currently a visiting professor at National Taiwan Normal University’s music department.
Vocal Judge: Peixin Chen – A renowned bass singer actively performing on international opera stages, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Florida, and various European opera houses. This year, he will star in " Rigoletto" (September) and the world premiere of "Monkey King Wukong" (November) at the San Francisco Opera.
String Judge: Dawn Harms – A violinist with the San Francisco Opera Orchestra, Harms brings extensive orchestral experience. She also teaches at Stanford University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and serves as the conductor for the conservatory’s pre-college orchestra.

今天上午,非常榮幸與各位老師共度了一段充滿靈感的時光!感謝 **Gwendolyn Mok 教授** 為我們帶來深度與魅力兼具的講座——「拉威爾的鋼琴音樂」。超過 10 位老師齊聚一堂,跟隨 Mok 教授的腳步,從拉威爾的藝術品味、歷史背景到音樂詮釋,一步步揭開這位音樂巨匠的創作密碼🔍。

2024 USIMC Fundraising Concert
這是一場展示過去USIMC(美國國際音樂比賽)獲獎者才華的盛会。這些杰出的音樂人,憑藉他們的才華和努力,在衆多參賽者中脫穎而出,成爲了未來音樂的閃亮希望。USIMC不僅爲他們提供了展現才華的舞臺,更在他們的音樂旅程中提供了持續的支持和鼓勵,幫助他們追求幷實現自己的音樂夢想。
本次音樂會邀請了衆多在往年比賽中頂級獲獎者,例如現任舊金山青年交響樂團小提琴首席 Roger和他的Moltrés String Quarte,Roger曾是USIMC比賽中小提琴組的佼佼者;現在灣區炙手可熱的春天合唱團,該團成員們在去年比賽中囊括了多項大獎,更值得一提的是该团指挥邓文博老师是中国合唱指挥届泰斗马革顺先生的关门弟子等等。音樂會彙集了多種音樂形式和風格,從激動人心的打擊樂演出,到情感豐富的鍵盤樂器演奏;從溫柔細膩的弦樂旋律,到氣勢磅礴的管樂合奏,每一個節目都是對音樂無限可能性的探索和致敬。我们还将有师生同台,比如笛子大师余晓庆老师将会与去年USIMC中国乐器组大奖获得者吹笙的学生一起表演。這些獲獎者不僅將展現他們精湛的技藝,更將通過他們的演奏,傳遞音樂的真諦和精神。

Music Future 2024 USIMC Fundraising Concert

Join us for a thrilling evening at the 2024 United States International Music Competition (USIMC) Fundraising Concert, where we spotlight the luminaries of past USIMC contests. These virtuosos, once emerging stars, now shine brightly, heralding the future of music. The USIMC has been a pivotal stage for showcasing their talents, providing visibility and ongoing support and encouragement, and fueling their journey toward musical aspirations.

This concert features top laureates from previous competitions, including the San Francisco Youth Symphony's concertmaster, Roger, and his Moltrés Strings Quartet. Roger is recognized as a standout violinist from USIMC. The Bay Area's acclaimed Spring Choir, with its award-winning members, is set to mesmerize. Led by Mr. Wenbo Deng, a disciple of Ma Geshun and a global choral contest winner, they promise a rich sonic journey. Expect a night of diverse music, from thrilling percussion to moving harp melodies, and from delicate strings to majestic keyboard ensembles. A highlight will be a mentor-protégé performance with dizi master Mr. Yuxiao Qing and his student Brian, a former USIMC Chinese Instrument category champion, showcasing their exceptional skill and the depth of music.
