✨ Join us in celebrating our Adult Education Karina Carrillo! "Karina is currently in the externship part of the Medical Assistant program (which she LOVES). She is a delight to be around and is always willing to help her peers. Karina goes out of her way to fill any need she may see. Something really amazing about Karina is that while attending our Medical Assistant Day program, she has completed her Bachelor's Degree in Chicano Studies. We are so excited for her!" We are of Karina and all she has accomplished! 💙

Wish Book: The Independence Networks gives adult students with disabilities the opportunity to become the teacher Students work with one of the program’s instructors to develop their own course.

Our Independence Network program is one of the organizations benefiting from The Mercury News' Wish Book grant program this year!

Giving adult students with disabilities the opportunity to become the teacher - Wish Book | The Mercury News Donations to Independent Network, Santa Clara Unified School District will be used to buy supplies for the student-led classes and to support community outings related to what is being taught in class.
