Flashback Friday: Multicultural Week🌏

Our preschoolers had a wonderful opportunity to experience the gift of culture and diversity within our school community. Students brought their homemade flags and shared some snacks with peers, along with fun facts that represented their family's culture and tradition. Happy Thanksgiving from SCCS!
As we approach this season of gratitude, we want to send our warmest blessings to all our wonderful families and teachers. We pray for a Thanksgiving filled with joy, meaningful time with loved ones, and a year of health and happiness. Thank you for being such an important part of our SCCS community. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you!

Bible story of the week: Jesus and Zacchaeus

"Jesus loved all kinds of people, and often associated with those that others did not like so much. He changed lives by this love, and transformed how people felt and behaved. Jesus offered mercy and forgiveness, and because of that we can demonstrate love to one another."

Just like Zacchaeus, we sometimes make sad choices too. But because Jesus' love is wide, long, high, and deep, we can do over and make kind choices. Jesus loves us and he wants to be our friend forever!

ATTENTION: On October 18th there will be a Panda Express fundraiser.

This is a really easy fundraiser. Since this is a virtual fundraiser, there are no flyers that are taken into the restaurant. Everything is ordered online, for pickup or delivery. We have a special code for OCTOBER 18TH, ONLY. But this means that anyone we share with, whether in the area, or in Los Angeles, Boston, or Dallas - if there is a Panda Express nearby, that person can use our code online, and the school will get a whopping 28% of their order, not including tax or tip. See flyer attached with the online code.

Ways to spread the word:
* Post on social media
* Tell/give out flyers to church people, neighbors, bible study groups, wherever.
* Just share the code with everyone and anyone! That's the really great thing about this fundraiser - it's not limited to a certain location. As long as the order is placed on October 18th the school will get credit!
