Summer is a time for fun
To laugh and make memories
The highest time for the sun

It is almost here
Summer vacation
And swimming at the pier

The heat arrived
Same for mosquitos
No school equals I'm not fun deprived

My shades are on
Flip-flops too
In summer there’s a lot to do

I love summer
But all things have to end
When it happens it will be a bummer

Summer Summer the fun is here
No more school,reading or writing
Only traveling, playing, and swimming
Close your eyes, summer fun is near.

Having Sleepover parties
With friends and cousins
staying up and telling stories
Getting ready for outdoor screen

Children,adults all get breaks
Learning continues with nature
At camps, hikes and lakes
Make memories to cherish later

Summer Fun
is almost here,
School is done
Summer’s near

My sunglasses are on,
Flip-flops too.
In the summer,
There is a lot to do!

On my bike
Or in the pool
A woodland hike
Or a mining jewel

Trips to the beach
Are always fun
Yummy peaches
And games to run

Swimming, sliding,
Ocean tides,
Roller coasters
Thrilling rides

Summer’s near
It is clear
Summer’s the,
best time of year!

Birds

The soft soothing sound
That never makes me blue.
Up in the blue skies
Along the white clouds.

Never a disappointment
But a bucket of joy.
Sweet and short
Relaxed and unworried.

Early in the morning
Chirp, Chirp it says.
Making your day
An enjoyable one.

Then it flies away
To make someone else's day.
All goes silent
But the sound still stays.

When the sun is up high,
The sound comes again.
Chirp, Chirp it says.
This time to give you
A Cheer.
When the sun is down,
Here it comes once again.
Now to tell you
How the sweet day was.
