Professor Kitts, Dr. Michael Neumann, and Robert McDonald recently had a Cluster Control paper published in IEEE Access - Adaptive Navigation Control Primitives for Multirobot Clusters: Extrema Finding, Contour Following, Ridge/Trench Following, and Saddle Point Station Keeping.

Students, faculty, and staff from the lab took part in the 3rd Annual Alum Rock Unified School District's A Night with NASA at Arbuckle Elementary School. The team took the Mobile Maker Lab and Mobile Mission Control trailers to the school and shared the work that we do.

Dr. Neumann has been with the lab for a long time and has been successful in his academic ventures and also with is venture in helping students in Tanzania through a non-profit organization that he helped to create, TETEA. The online resource is consistently ranked in the top-200 sites visited in the country and the (phone) text-based resource is reaching nearly 3,000 users and 150,000 interactions on an annual basis.
