U.S. News & World Report has ranked UC Santa Barbara number 9 in its annual listing of the “Top 50 Public National Universities” in the country, and number 39 on its list of the “Best National Universities.”

The League of American Bicyclists has named UC Santa Barbara a Bicycle Friendly Business Gold Award winner! 10,215 UCSB students commute to campus on a bicycle as well as 420 staff and faculty. UCSB offers seven miles of Class 1 bicycle paths and 10,000 secure bicycle parking spaces in bicycle racks.
