Field Trip! On the second-to-last day of our summer research program, we took a field trip to Wyatt Technologies in Goleta. Students learned about some interesting science and had an opportunity to see what jobs in industry are like. Extra bonus: we got a tour by recent alum Nate Ruble who is working there in QC.

Today is the last day of our 10-week summer research program. 11 students worked full-time on projects ranging from peptide fibril formation to characterizing the width of a laser beam.
