Yesterday we were honored to host a delegation of deans and department heads from the Brain Korea 21 (BK21) program, along with representatives from the South Korean Ministry of Education. 🇰🇷✨

Their visit included a campus tour and a lively panel discussion where we exchanged ideas and explored opportunities for future collaboration. 💡🎓

We are grateful for the chance to connect and look forward to building on this partnership! 🌍💙

Last week, students in UCSB International Programs with the Study Abroad Foundation had the amazing opportunity to visit the AlloSphere, a one-of-a-kind immersive research facility right on campus. With its stunning 360° projection and surround sound, the AlloSphere lets visitors step inside data and simulations — an inspiring experience that sparks curiosity, research, and discovery here at UCSB! 🪐

Congratulations to all the students who took part in the UCSB & KSE Global Summer 2025 MasterScholars Program! Over three weeks, they delved into research methods across five exciting areas of study. Their journey culminated in final presentations judged by a panel, followed by an award ceremony and a cheerful rooftop lunch to celebrate their achievements. A heartfelt thanks to our wonderful partner, KSE Global, for helping make this unforgettable program happen! 🔬🗣️☀️
