Ⓜ️⏱️ Season 12 Spring Registration opens TOMORROW 12/1! We have added 4️⃣ new classes on Fridays, so make sure to register before they’re full! For the first season in MDC history many classes have wait lists and we want to get everyone in their classes so please make sure to register early!

⏱️Ⓜ️🖤 We have reached the end of our faculty announcements which leaves only one person…Yupp you guessed it… our owner Miss Betsy — the heart behind Momentum. Most people know her as the studio owner cheering on every dancer, but not everyone knows the journey that came before MDC.
She’s spent over 25 years training across Canada, Atlanta, New York, and LA… danced professionally in Los Angeles… worked with artists she used to fangirl over… and taught dancers across the US and the Caribbean.
Momentum wasn’t something she “just started” — it was a lifelong dream she carried from childhood to college to every class she ever taught. Momentum is more than a business to her; it’s the place she wished she had growing up. A place where dancers feel seen, supported, challenged, and loved.
Thank you for letting her share that dream with your children every single day. 🫶✨
We are absolutely delighted with each and every faculty and staff member at Momentum this season and are already seeing your dancers take off! Thank you from all of us for choosing MDC for your dancers take education!!

⏱️Ⓜ️🖤 Now everybody knows, in order to dance someone’s gotta finance! Thats why we love and adore our Accountant and Office Manager Kyle! She has absolutely gotten us in order and made the growth to our new studio possible! It may not by the most fun job at the studio but it is absolutely the most important!

Kyle received her CPA license from SBCC in the year 2020. She is also the Treasurer for our non-profit organization Be Momentum! Kyle believes that honest, authentic, transparent communication is the foundation of solid relationships. And solid, trustful, respectful relationships build a strong community. And a strong community is resilient, vibrant, and diverse.

⏱️Ⓜ️🖤 Our MDC Faculty couldn’t do their job without our administrative staff…you know her you love her she does it all everyone give it up for our Studio Manager Chanel Luna! Chanel came to us 2 years ago and has been an absolute game changer since she came through our doors…she does it all and yes sometimes even subs a ballet class last minute!!

Chanel graduated from UCSB in the spring of 2021 with her undergraduate BA degree. In the summer of 2024, Chanel completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from SNHU!

Chanel comes from a dance company background of 10 years practicing the dance styles ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, and contemporary. She is excited to be back in the dance world and contribute to the MDC community!

We all love her and wouldn’t be able to operate without her! Show Chanelly/ Chantrelle some love below!!!

⏱️Ⓜ️🖤 Our incredible faculty just keeps getting better and better! We are so excited to add Cooper Zamorano to our MDC Faculty this season! We were privileged enough to get Cooper monthly last season and this year we have him EVERY WEEK! 🤯 Cooper is an established choreographer and dance educator who has taught with 24 Seven Dance Convention, currently travels and judges for Hall of Fame Dance Competition, and currently teaches at multiple award winning studios in Southern California.

Coopers elite training and teaching style elevate every class he teaches. Coopers class is like no other and truly an experience you have to see for yourself. He is patient, knowledgeable and incredibly enthusiastic with the success of every dancer he works with. We are beyond thrilled he has joined our team this season.
