This is your sign to apply to UCSB’s Transfer Making It Happen (TMIH) program by Tuesday, August 4! TMIH session takes place virtually on Tuesday, August 18.

TMIH is a transfer preparation program that strives to ensure entering first-year community college students make a smooth transition into the University of California (UC). TMIH is open to all graduating high school seniors entering a California community college. See the link in our bio for more details!

Incoming first-years & transfers are required to submit official transcripts by July 1 and test scores by July 15 directly from testing agencies. Reminder: We do not accept emailed transcripts! Check the links in our bio for details and review the Steps to Enrollment page for other important deadlines.

It may take up to two weeks for transcripts and test scores to be posted in the Applicant Portal from the time UCSB receives them. Do NOT resend “missing” documents, as you will be contacted by our staff directly. Please check your portal to review your document status. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

It’s official! Starting this fall, enrolled UCSB students who meet housing deadlines, and enrollment requirements will now receive a two-year housing guarantee. We can’t wait to share more details over email!
