Get an Immediate Travel Signature! Traveling abroad for the break? Need a new travel signature? Come to our Travel Signature Party for F-1 and J-1 students on Friday, December 2. No appointment is needed, just meet us in the OISS Conference room (SRB 3rd floor). Be sure to bring your I-20 or DS-2019 for us to sign. Hot cocoa and tea will be provided.
Who needs a travel signature?
Any student who will be traveling outside the U.S. needs a valid travel signature to re-enter.
How long is a student's travel signature valid?
Travel signatures are valid for up to one year from the date they are signed. Your travel signature must be valid at the time of re-entry to the U.S.

WOW! What a Week of Welcome it was! From Rec Cen and Gaucho Campus Tours to The REEF to our Party by the Beach with DJ Darla Bea, OISS staff had a week filled with fun and excitement as we welcomed our new Global Gauchos to campus! We wish everyone a great fall start. đź’™ Thank you to all our campus partners who help us make this a memorable week!
All new Global Gauchos! Don’t forget to login to Shoreline to sign up for Week of Welcome events! Many are full but there are still spaces available for tours and touch tank experiences! We hope you all will join us for our Friday party with to close out the week! If you have new roommates bring them with you (even if they aren’t international) just make sure everyone signs up through Shoreline. We can’t wait to meet you all!

While the rest of campus might be quieter during the summer, OISS’ English Conversation Program (ECP) has been keeping busy. From creating posters illustrating common English idioms to learning how to order at restaurants like Freebirds, ECP students have been improving their English skills and engaging with American culture in a multitude of ways throughout the quarter.
