At graduation, one of the most meaningful academic traditions is the hooding ceremony. This symbolic moment marks a scholar’s transition from student to graduate.
Rooted in centuries of academic tradition, the hood represents knowledge, and entry into a community of scholars. During the ceremony, doctoral graduates are “hooded” by faculty mentors, signifying the completion of a rigorous journey of learning, research, and personal growth.
As Fielding prepares for graduation in June, we look forward to honoring this enduring tradition and recognizing the dedication and accomplishments of our graduates.
We are proud to celebrate all our graduates.
