Here’s to the legends of the 1992 Arizona trip, some of whom are pictured here. From chicken fights in the water, to getting buried in the mud, this trip had it all! We love looking back at all these smiling faces!
 

Same laugh, same spirit, just a few more trail miles under her belt!

Today we’re throwing it back to Erin’s days as an SBMS student. Since then, Erin has spent almost 30 years scouting trails, planning for contingencies, and launching generations of students on the adventures of a lifetime.

We’re constantly reminded how incredible the SBMS alumni community is — and recently we had a true standout.

Alumni parents Ginny and Garrett Speirs (Ben '15) generously hosted students and staff from the Santa Ynez Biking trip at their beautiful property. Beyond giving us a place to camp, they opened up their art studios for two incredible hands-on workshops: drawing with Ginny (.speirs) and lithography with Garrett ().

It was an experience none of us will forget. Thank you, Ginny and Garrett, for your warm hospitality and for inspiring the next generation of artists!

Throwing it back to when our beloved art teacher, Sophie, was a student herself (Class of ‘93).

From then to now, we’re so grateful for your creativity, your playfulness, and the magical way you help everyone see beauty in the world.

Here’s to you, Sophie — still inspiring, still creating, still making everything a little more colorful! 🎨
