Fund My Textbooks

12/02/2025

It’s Giving Tuesday, and your support can change a student’s day and their entire semester.

At UC Davis, students are pushing through course loads, jobs, and the pressure of trying to make it all work. Many still struggle to afford the textbooks, digital access, supplies, and tech they need to stay on track.

Your Giving Tuesday gift helps remove those barriers and gives a student the confidence to keep moving forward.

Your support provides:
• Textbooks and Equitable Access fees
• Lab supplies and workbooks
• Laptops, tablets, and essential tech

Every gift makes a real difference.
Give today and help a UC Davis student succeed.

🧑‍💻 Why join Fund My Textbooks? Because college is hard enough without stressing about how to pay for your books, tech, and course fees.

82% of college students skip buying required materials because of cost — Textbook Costs Impact Survey (2023). That means missed readings, falling behind in class, and added stress you don’t need.

📚 With Fund My Textbooks, you can raise funds for your school essentials:
• Physical and digital textbooks
• Tech items
• Equitable Access fee and more!

The best part? Your friends, family, and community can donate directly to YOUR account. No platform fees, no stress.

Your education should be your focus, not how to pay for it.

This article highlights the heart of what we’re building: a new way to support students by making course materials more accessible – through community, generosity, and innovation.

Huge thanks to everyone who’s supported this journey so far – UC Davis is just the beginning!
