We are incredibly grateful to the Stinner family and Stinner Frameworks for their generosity in making this raffle possible.

Much of the afternoon today at The Oaks was spent in anticipation, watching this little life unzip from its shell over several hours before spilling out onto the incubator mat — a bundle of wet feathers and soft peeps to delight the children before collapsing for a well-deserved nap. Sharing the tender moments of a new little life with the children never gets old; spring tends to be busy at The Oaks, but on days when a chick is hatched we slow way down and indulge ourselves in the quiet wonder unfolding in the block room.

These five incredible teachers gathered last Monday to celebrate our graduates. Summer program starts today—follow along in stories for a peek at the sunny days ahead!

On this last day of school, we’re still giggling about yesterday’s tea party—a magical tradition we hope to keep for years to come. Our graduates arrived in style, each with a very important guest in tow: a regal lion, a bashful snake, a few cuddly teddy bears, a sleepy elephant seal, a waddling penguin, a daydreaming narwhal, and a whole warren of bunnies. What a joy it was to pour tea for such a wild and wonderful crew.
