Parent Teacher Work Party - This Saturday August 20th (perhaps a second one on August 28th)

9:30 am to 12:30pm

It will be so lovely to have your help to make Sunrise shine this Saturday. Please come ready to work. If you have a sander, please bring it, and wear clothes that you can get dirty. We will have coffee, munchies, masks, and lots to do! Come meet your new community of Teachers, Staff and Parents!

This is not a children's event as we will be using paint and stain, etc and do not want the children exposed to the fumes.

Looking for an Assistant Teacher with required or enrolled in beginning Early Childhood Education credits (6 credits), and some experience with children from 2 through 5+ years of age.
The person in this position will:
*Plan, lay out and Co-supervise the playground time portion of our program
*Supervise children and assist the Teachers
*Help with extra cleaning and disinfecting of toys and playground
*Supervise at lunch time, nap time, be an afternoon group assistant
*Set up the extended care playground
*Be responsible for the care and general organization of the playground equipment and outdoors along with the other Coordinator.
* Be able to substitute if needed when staff is unwell and cannot work
Must love children, be self-motivated, creative, organized, a good communicator, able to step in and assist when needed and work well in a team. Interested in learning about and incorporating the Montessori philosophy and practice. Jazzed about continuing to learn and grow as a teacher.
Must also be able to complete Pediatric CPR & First Aid/AED , Mandated Reporter Training and to pass Live scan and Immunization requirements. Covid 19 full vaccination and boosted a plus.
