🚨 Important Deadline Alert: Drop Without a “W” 🚨
Gauchos, mark your calendars! This Friday, April 24th is the final day to drop a course on GOLD without it appearing as a “W” (Withdrawal) on your official transcript. 📉
What you need to know:
The Deadline: Friday, April 24th.
The Impact: Dropping by this Friday means the course is completely removed from your record.
After Friday: Any drops will require a “Late Drop” petition, and a “W” will be recorded on your transcript.
⚠️ Check Before You Click
Dropping below 12 units can impact your status. If you fall into any of these categories, please consult with your advisor before making changes:
💰 Financial Aid Recipients (to avoid aid adjustments or repayments)
🌏 International Students (to maintain visa eligibility)
👟 NCAA Student-Athletes (to remain eligible for competition)
Take a moment to review your schedule on GOLD today so you aren’t rushing on Friday afternoon! 💻✨

🚨 GOLD ALERT: ADD DEADLINE 🚨
Planning to make a last-minute change to your schedule? Friday, April 17th is the last day to add a course directly via GOLD! 🗓️
Here’s what you need to know to lock in your units:
Instructor Codes: Since we are past Week 1, you’ll need an approval code from the instructor to add a course on GOLD. Reach out to them ASAP! 🔑
Missing the Window? While Friday is the deadline to add via GOLD, courses can still be late-added by petition after April 17th (though it’s a bit more paperwork!). 📝
Questions? Don’t stress. Reach out to the Advising Office if you need help navigating your schedule or the petition process. 🎓
Secure those spots now and finish the week strong! 🌟

🗓️ Important Deadline Alert!
The finish line is in sight! This Friday marks the official end of instruction, but it’s more than just the last day of class—it’s your final opportunity to:
Change your grading option (Letter Grade vs. P/NP).
Request a “Late Drop” via petition.
💡 Before you make a change, keep these in mind:
⚖️ Pre-Law Students: Think twice before switching to P/NP. Law school admissions generally prefer letter grades; try to avoid an “NP” on your transcript.
💰 Financial Aid: Dropping below 12 units? Check in with the Office of Financial Aid first to see how your funding might be affected.
🌍 International Students: If you’re planning to drop below 12 units, you must contact OISS. Don’t risk your Visa status!
🏆 Student-Athletes: Always consult your Academic Advisor before changing your schedule to ensure you stay eligible to play.
Double-check your schedule today so you can focus on those finals! ✍️✨
