Centre for Girls & Interaction - CEGI has been selected to participate in Unite to Light’s 2026 Light and Partner Program (LP3). We will match their fundraising goals to bring a total of 1,000 Luke Lights to students in Malawi.

Receiving: 1,000 Luke Lights.

Distributing to: 5 primary schools in remote villages in Malawi.

Supporting: Children’s education by increasing the hours that they can study and read in the evening.

Severe flooding has devastated communities across Ghana, leaving many families without homes, belongings, or access to basic necessities.

Just a few days ago, 600 Unite to Light solar lights arrived in Ghana. Our Board Member and TEMA International School teacher Tema International School, Surama, has been on the ground, working with the students and meeting with families affected by the flooding and to coordinate relief efforts. She shared that many people have lost everything, and the need for clean water, food, medical supplies, and other essentials is overwhelming.

The lights are already bringing comfort and safety to families facing long nights without reliable electricity.

Corridors of Peace International has been selected to participate in Unite to Light’s 2026 Light and Partner Program (LP3). We will match their fundraising goals to bring a total of 100 Luke Lights, 50 Chandler Chargers, and 30 Haven Lanterns to students and women in Chad.

Receiving: 100 Luke Lights, , 50 Chandler Chargers, and 30 Haven Lanterns.

Distributing to: 300 vulnerable women and girls in refugee camps and remote villages in Chad.

Supporting: Children’s education and literacy, strengthening livelihoods, and promoting independence.

We are heartbroken by the loss of our incredible partners, Jayson Conner and Jeffrey Newman.

Through their work at Together Helping Others & Backpacks for the Streets, they brought hope and support to thousands of people, always leading with generosity and a commitment to making a difference. We are honored to have shared in their journey and grateful for the opportunity to witness the kindness they brought into the world.

We began partnering during the dark days of COVID, when Jeffrey and Jayson never stopped helping people stranded on the streets. We continued the partnership through immigration booms and crackdowns, as we saw the humility and respect they brought to their work. They treated each individual with respect and care - bringing light to each interaction they had.

Their impact will continue to shine through the many lives they touched.

Africa Schools of Kenya (ASK) has been selected to participate in Unite to Light’s 2026 Light and Partner Program (LP3). We will match their fundraising goals to bring a total of 500 Luke Lights, 10 Chandler Chargers, and 12 Haven Lanterns to students and leaders in Kenya.

Receiving: 500 Luke Lights, 10 Chandler Chargers, and 12 Haven Lanterns.

Distributing to: Primary school students, Mobile Health Wagons and health clinics, households in need, and community leaders in Kenya.

Supporting: Children’s education, improving community healthcare, and increasing hours of productivity for income-generating beadwork.

SAWA SAWA Collection has been selected to participate in Unite to Light’s 2026 Light and Partner Program (LP3). We will match their fundraising goals to bring a total of 25 Chandler Chargers and 500 Luke Lights to women artisans in rural Kenya.

Receiving: 25 Chandler Chargers.

Distributing to: Women artisan group leaders and individual artisans in the Maasai Mara, Kenya.

Supporting: Economic empowerment for rural women artisans. Chargers will power women artisans’ mobile phones, allowing for improved communication and supply chain efficiency.
