All Saints’ Green Team thanks all of you who provided "lightly used" and stylish professional clothing for Westmont students entering the job market. As reported by Amie Kate Canlis, Green Team member and Westmont student, "The event was marvelous: we had SO many beautiful clothing items! About sixty students happily left the giveaway with arms full of new attire, and ideas sparked for innovative ideas regarding sustainability on campus."
These clothes were saved from an otherwise miserable end in the landfill.
Keep up all the Reducing, Recycling, Reusing, and all the other teRRific R's of greening our Godly planet!

Please join us Sunday, June 14, at our 10am service for Confirmation of 14 of our members and Bishop John Taylor’s last visit to All Saints before he retires. Bishop Taylor has led the Diocese of Los Angeles since 2017. His enthusiasm for the work of the church and commitment for those on the margins has greatly energized the diocese and we are so grateful! He will be joined by his wife Kathy O’Connor who has also been very active in the diocese during these years.
Bishop Taylor will be with us to confirm, receive, or reaffirm the baptism vows of 14 of our members. These individuals have been preparing for this service through education classes, prayer, and discernment. Your support of them as they take this step in their faith life is most appreciated. It will be a full day of blessings! Please join us!

Sunday, May 24, All Saints’ Youth Group and Outreach Ministry made flashcards for “Immigrant Hope” our neighbors who are getting ready to take their tests to become citizens. All youth are invited to take the flashcards to Immigrant Hope on Wednesday, June 3 at 6pm so people can start using them to study. We will be returning Wednesday, July 1 at 6pm to play bingo with the students! This is a great summer service opportunity and a useful way we can offer support.

This past weekend the Parish welcomed eight visitors from St. Paul’s in San Miguel de Allende, continuing our growing partnership in outreach and service. During their visit, the Outreach Committee discussed ways to strengthen and expand our relationship. The group also visited the Friendship Center, made sandwiches, packed sack lunches and distributed them to the homeless at Showers of Blessings, met with the Executive Director of Immigrant Hope, and participated in a beach clean-up with the Green Team.
Father Miguel, assistant rector of St. Paul’s, delivered the sermon at both services, followed by a presentation to the Parish by our visitors. Thank you to everyone who helped welcome our guests and participated in the weekend events!
