Jaws dropped today! Shark Shack brought the Shark Lab to camp and gave our campers an unforgettable dive into the world of sharks. Huge thanks to Shark Shack CSULB Shark Lab for bringing the Shark Lab to camp today! The kids got hands-on with real shark jaws, teeth, and tons of cool ocean facts🦈🦈🦈

We always think Beach Camp is all about the water… but honestly, half the fun happens on the sand…good waves are a megaaa bonus, but good memories are always a guarantee🤙🤙🫶🫶
This week we had an absolute BLAST playing beach games, having some team challenges, art, exploring, and nonstop laughs all dayyyyy! Not to mention we had a special treat with Shark Lab paying us a visit to educate us on all the cool sharks we have in the ocean🦈🦈
What an epic week, we’re bringing the stoke into the next 🤙🤟✨🦞

Flics from Fishin’ Camp last week! That sheepshead is the largest fish we’ve caught yet… better yet it was on the smallest pole. Camper Finn also called it; before he boarded the boat he told us he’d catch a big sheep.
Fun fact: California sheephead are protogynous hermaphrodites, meaning they all start life as females, and the largest females can change into males if a dominant male disappears. This s*x change helps keep the population reproducing and is driven by the social structure of the group.
