On June 1, 2024 at 9:23am, the Prospective Lambda Class crossed into Active Membership. The Active Members would like to congratulate the Lambdas for their dedication and diligence throughout the process, and we cannot wait to see them grow as Active Members of the Alpha Sigma Chapter!

Last week, our Active Members gathered together to celebrate all of our accomplishments this school year. It has been such a wonderful year filled with so many DEMories! Big shoutout to our Social Committee for all the hard work they put in to make this end-of-the-year Banquet happen!

And of course, to our Seniors, it has been an honor watching all that you have achieved in your time in DEM and at UCSB. Oh, the places you’ll go! You’re DEMily will always be here cheering you on❤️

RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM🥼

The Active Members of DEM, in collaboration with PhiDE and Rho Psi Eta, would love to invite everyone to our Research Symposium next Wednesday (April 24th) from 5-7 pm at the Corwin Pavilion! Join us for a panel featuring various PI’s and Graduate Students speaking about their current research and how you could get involved. Following the panel, engage directly with undergraduate researchers during the walk-around, where you are given the opportunity to talk to current undergraduate researchers and their experience in their lab and/or their current findings. This event serves as an opportunity to immerse yourself in research and connect with those in the field. We hope to see everyone there!
