Daytime Testing Activities
The OC Streetcar project is continuing testing activities, with daytime testing scheduled Tuesday, August 25, through Friday, August 28, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
During testing, streetcar vehicles will make multiple trips throughout the corridor between the Harbor Terminus and the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Station (SARTC) to test the system, including crossing gates and other safety equipment, and confirm everything is operating safely and as designed. Crossing gates will activate, streetcar horns will sound as vehicles approach crossings, and bells may sound as necessary for safety.
Motorists may experience brief delays, and flaggers will be on site as needed to help safely direct traffic. Drivers should stay alert, follow flagger instructions, and park legally in designated areas. Vehicles that block or interfere with streetcar operations are subject to towing in accordance with local parking regulations.
