Founded in 1990 by L.A. Groundlings alum Cherie Kerr, the Orange County Crazies offers classes in sketch, improv, and standup comedy, as well as hosting frequent public showcase performances. Based at the De Pietro Performance Center in downtown Santa Ana, the Crazies offers educational and performance opportunities to comics of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. If you have a spunky, fun, 6-9 year old, you might consider the OC Crazies 'Lil Crazies newest class for this age group. The class meets from Monday, August 3rd to Friday, August 7th, 2026 at the De Pietro Performance Center from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. On our website is a small video glimpse of the last class' showcase performance! This class' enrollment will likely be smaller. What does that mean for your youngster? More stage time and personal attention. Tuition is $525 and the class runs for 5 consecutive mornings. Crazie Teens! The OC Crazies will be offering a “Teen Bootcamp” starting Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the De Pietro Performance Center. Teens will perform on the last day of class or the following weekend. Enrollment is limited. Class will run for 5 afternoons. Crazies encourage the crazy teens to go crazy by exploring their creativity and imaginations. In this class, we encourage impulsivity as the teens are urged to fly by the seat of their pants!
