CA State Fullerton Arboretum and Botanical Garden, with garden paths that wander through four major collections: Cultivated, Woodlands, Mediterranean and Desert Collections. Highlights include Southern California native vegetation, Rare Fruit Grove, an 11,000 sq ft organic vegetable garden, historic Citrus and Avocados, Channel Islands Garden, an extensive Cycad Collection, Conifer Collection, Palm Grove, Community Gardens, and a Children's Garden.

Lots of Hummingbird hotspots as well.

Along the Southern California coastline, Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve offers over 1,300 acres of coastal habitat surrounding a saltwater estuary. Hiking trails. Let's take a walk explore all he wetlands have to offer. a chance to spot nearly 200 resident and transient bird species that use the wetlands as a critical stopover while migrating along the Pacific Flyway. Nature lovers can also enjoy seeing nearly over 100 plants and trees found in the wetlands.

Value-Based Workflow in Photoshop emphasizes the importance of utilizing black and white values to enhance depth and detail in color images. By focusing on the grayscale representation of an image, artists can accurately assess the tonal range and contrast, ensuring that shadows and highlights are well-defined.

This approach allows for meticulous adjustments that improve the overall composition and visual impact of colors. By using tools such as the Curves and Levels adjustments, designers can refine their images, bringing out texture and dimensionality that might be lost in a purely color-focused workflow. Ultimately, this technique not only elevates the aesthetics of the final piece but also promotes a deeper understanding of how light interacts with color, resulting in even more dynamic and engaging artwork.

This full-day PPA Merited class will take us from beginning to end, or from Vision to Finish! You will leave with a better understanding of the tools of Photoshop whether you are a Photoshop beginner, intermediate, or advanced user.
