Children’s Village Preschool

🌊 The teachers in our baby room enjoyed making an underwater ocean encounter. During our Ocean themed week, this fun activity helped our little ones experience visiting the ocean and the kinds of creatures living in it. We all had fun as our teachers moved up and down like waves and played ocean sounds in the background. Lots of curiosity was going on in here! 🙂🐠🪼

🦎 We had some special guests visit us! Learning about different reptiles is much more fun when we can meet them. With respect and gentle touches, we met many different lizards, snakes, turtles, and more! 🐍🐢

Hula Hooping fun! We enjoy practicing how to move our bodies in different ways to put our hoops in motion. We encourage our friends and learn from each other, too! ✨👏

During our Reptiles and Amphibians Week, each class had fun learning about alligators and used sponges and paint to make a large alligator. Some were almost life-size! 🐊

🪏 Our garden is in full swing and we are enjoying the Summer harvest! Along with caring for our garden, we also get to harvest and eat (or take home) yummy carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, and more. We have so much fun learning about how to grow our own veggies! 🥰🥕🍅

☀️ During our warm and sunny Summer weather, we enjoy finding shady areas to play! At Children's Village, we have large umbrellas, shady trees, play houses, awning tarps, misters, and some very big sunflower leaves to find shade in throughout our outdoor play areas. You will even see us enjoying smoothie pops that we make by mashing and blending fruit. We have fun beating the heat! 🌳🍧🌻

🍕 Last Friday our school made English muffin pizzas! We always enjoy cooking projects and this one had us all happily tasting ingredients as we prepared the pizzas. Some classes enjoyed their pizzas as part of a picnic lunch on our grass field while others enjoyed eating inside with the AC on during this warm summer day. 🧺😊☀️

🛠️ Building with cups is a fun group or independent activity! We try different building designs to see what will make the highest tower. Of course we still have fun when it falls! The children use skills such as hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, engineering, communication, and much more. 😁✨

The sandbox is always a favorite spot on our playground! Whether we're building, digging, or creating imaginary worlds, every visit is filled with opportunities to strengthen social skills, explore new sensory experiences, and let our creativity shine. At Children's Village, even playtime is full of meaningful learning!☀️🪣✨

Bounce house day was a huge hit!🏰
The children had an amazing time jumping, laughing, and burning off energy all day long. There’s nothing better than seeing so many smiles while making fun memories with friends. We can't wait for the next bounce-filled adventure!😊✨
